Funeral Director Job Opening in colorado springs, Colorado - Funeral Director The Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, Mausoleum and Crematory in Colorado Springs, Colorado is seeking an experience funeral director / embalmer / cremationist for long-term, full-time employment with benefits. We are presently serving approximately 600 families per year through our 3 local facilities including our nationally recognized Shrine of Remembrance Chapel Mausoleum which is one of the nicest funeral home and mausoleum facilities in the country. The ideal candidate for this position would have an up-beat, positive personality; possess at least an Associates Degree; be proficient with the use of Windows computers and standard office software; have at least one to two years of meaningful experience working in a busy funeral home; be proficient with decedent preparation, embalming and cosmetology work; have some experience in making at-need and pre-need funeral arrangements; and have had experience in operating a crematory and performing cremations.
