Imagine One is now hiring a Cyber Security Engineer (Policy & Ops) to support the Enterprise Engineering and Collaboration (E2C) Virtual Hosting Environment (VHE). This position is responsible for the day-to-day security posture of the system. This includes Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM), patch management, and management of operational and managerial policies and procedures. Additionally, this position performs ACAS Cyber Security scanning and Host Based Security System (HBSS) management for SPAWAR Charleston?s E2C Virtual Hosted Environment (VHE), a DoD hosted Cloud Services Provider of Infrastructure and Software as a Service (IAAS/SAAS) for private and community clouds for unclassified and classified enclaves.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Cyber Security Engineer is responsible for managing the residual risk of the E2C VHE solution and ensuring that changes in the residual risk are identified, documented, and remediated or mitigated, as necessary. This position is also responsible for developing a reaccreditation path for the E2C VHE solution. This involves working with SPAWAR Information Assurance (IA) leads, as well as the Authorizing Official (AO), the AO?s Designated Representatives (AODR), and the Security Control Assessors (SCA) to walk through the Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and/or Defense Information Assurance Risk Management Framework (DIARMF) process to prepare the system, system documentation, and system certification and accreditation package for assessment and secure operations. Additionally this position is responsible for remediating any residual risk items (controls or findings) that were not addressed prior to assessment by AO/AODR/SCA/DAA/CA.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
Education:
BS degree in Engineering or Physical Science.
Software Engineer only: Working towards the following certifications within one and a half year after assuming duties:
Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) (Previously known as Certified Software Engineering Professional (CSEP)), or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), other).
Experience:
Ten (10) years of experience in relevant technical field, to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C5ISR requirements. Five (5) years of technical experience in support of task specific project. Note: Experience may be concurrent.

Secret Clearance, Top Secret preferred (SSBI Investigation)
