D3 is searching for rock star software QA Engineer to be part of our high performing QA team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for working with software development team in an agile software development environment and will be responsible for establishing and executing quality assurance testing practices across all products and platforms.
Responsibilities:
Design, execute, maintain, improve well-structured test cases
Transition user stories and collect test requirements in test cases and test procedures for manual testing and automation scripting.
Clearly log defects, maintain test data and results
Monitor and analyze automated test runs and reports
Support the identification and debugging of software defects and champion the resolution of bus and issues
Estimate project testing tasks and communicate risks and concerns to project stakeholders
Test product feature enhancements and bug fixes
Make recommendations related to testing techniques and processes
Develop and execute automated test scripts in Fitnesse or Selenium
Maintain and enhance the automated test framework ? supporting a continuous integration environment with automated smoke and regression testing
Ideal Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in related field or proven work experience
2+ years of software testing experience
Experience in test plan and test case creation
Experience testing Android and iOS devices
Selenium and Fitnesse experience preferred
Java knowledge a plus
Solid understanding of Agile QA concepts, practices, processes and tools
Basic understanding of software architectures and concepts
Technical background (databases, client-server architecture, programming)
Banking experience a plus
Proven written and oral communication skills
Ability to learn quickly and manage time effectively
Flexible, able to embrace change and adaptable to new, challenging situations
Team player focused on working towards achieving team/project success
Self-starter with ability to work in a fast paced environment bringing new ideas and technologies into business
Ability to manage multiple projects and issues concurrently
Results and deadline driven
Ability to work independently with little direction
