Software Engineer Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - Our client is an Atlanta based firm making a massive investment in technology. They are looking for serious software engineers that have a passion for software development and possess exceptional skills. Candidates must have at least 1+ year experience outside the classroom, and the client will also consider more experienced candidates. For the more experienced candidates, experience managing big data is required. The team is building a machine learning based analytics tools to spot anomalies in sales/return/inventory numbers from month to month.
The development stack is going to be Python/SQL/OOP. The team have pretty well moved off of Java); they have also mostly moved off of Hadoop, and Big Query is being used primarily. great chance to learn leading-edge development processes.
More senior candidates must have experience developing dashboards and possess skills in data visualization. Javascript framework tools (probably Angular, but this is flexible)/Node.js/Python (Django would be nice for this role ). Candidates may also work with Tableau. This person would need to be interested in learning Data Engineering, but the experience needed would be web development.
