Manager of Accounting Job Opening in Norwalk, Connecticut - Our client, located in Norwalk, Connecticut area is looking for an organized and motivated Manager of Accounting to join their team. The Accounting Manager position will oversee the accounting operations, financial reports and general ledger changes as needed by the Finance Department of the company. The Manager of Accounting will report directly to the Controller of the company and will assist with general accounting functions, cash management, monthly closings, account analysis etc. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous management experience because they must lead, overlook and teach the finance department staff to make sure that the system data is up to date/everything is completed correctly.

Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA preferred
Required experience with accounting principles and practices
5-7 years public accounting experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
