Accounting Clerk Job Opening in Rocky Hill, Connecticut - Are you looking to join a dynamic team in a rapidly growing industry? Simoniz USA is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk to work for an internationally known brand associated with quality products.
The Accounting Clerk will join our growing team in Rocky Hill, CT. Working closely with the Corporate Controller, the ideal applicant should be energetic, detail oriented and a team player.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the vouchering and subsequent payment of vendor invoices
Assist with the cash application and deposit of customer payments
Management of incoming/outgoing mail
Assist with office management and administrative tasks (i.e. filing, office supply order initiation, etc.)
Other ad hoc responsibilities as needed (i.e. Invoicing, Credit Memo processing, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience of 1-2 years in accounting preferred
Excellent computer skills are essential
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational and problem solving skills
Work well in a team environment
Basic math skills
Must have reliable transportation to and from Rocky Hill.
