Accounts Payable Manager Job Opening in Greenwich, Connecticut - We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Manager in Greenwich, CT. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience and experience working with Great Plains. We need a candidate with Microsoft Great Plains intercompany experience, GL exposure, including journal entry creation, AP contract experience, both leases and royalties. Local candidates only. 55-60K Base + Bonus + Benefits
Responsibilities:
Perform full cycle Accounts Payable functions
Prepare AP accrual entries
Experience with Prepaid Expense accounts and vendor deposits
Reconcile AP to the General Ledger
Enter all invoices
Prepare payments of all invoices
Prepare recurring payments including leases, location rents
Verify invoice receiving, approvals and coding to the correct general ledger accounts
Multi-divisional, multi-company, multi-bank Microsoft GP (Great Plains) environment
Preparation and maintenance of Microsoft GP Recurring Entries
Perform account analysis
Prepare and post journal entries
Maintain and monitor vendor accounts
Coordinate transactions relating to intercompany invoicing, leasing and credit cards with AR Manager and Accounting Manager
Maintain vendor invoice file system and archives
Monitor conformation to AP purchasing and invoice processing policy
Manage interoffice AP invoice flow and AP related communications
Prepare templates for and track expense report submission
Process online corporate credit card reporting for integration into Great Plains
Prepare invoice payments
Prepare and manage annual 1099 forms
Requirements:
5+ years experience
2+ years with Microsoft GP (Great Plains)
Experience with Leases and Rent
Experience with accrued expenses and prepaid expenses
Experience with General Ledger
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of best practices in Accounts Payable
