Build/Release Engineer Job Opening in Medford, Oregon - Procare SoftwareŽ is Hiring a Build/Release Engineer
We?re looking for a full-time Build/Release Engineer that wants to play a long-term and integral role in building out our build and release automation strategies.

Help start building out better and more extensive automation strategy for build and release activities
Potentially help shape the company?s future to DevOps
Must Be Competent In:
Rolling out any type of release automation process or tools
Source Control (TFVC preferred)
Build Automation
Release Automation and any prior Release Management
Change Management
Automation scripting with PowerShell
Microsoft technologies (TFS, Visual Studio, architecture, Web , PowerShell, SQL Server, etc.)
Key Responsibilities Include:
Ensure the quality, reliability and stability of development and build systems
Engage with development and quality assistance teams to integrate software development and delivery from inception to full operation, ensuring robust released software and systems
Coordinates release of new software and systems
Build, manage, and support development & test environments, including issue troubleshooting
Build tools and systems that help development and quality assistance to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment
Learn new technologies and design/implement new solutions to automate infrastructure build out, deployments, and monitoring
Proactively investigate new opportunities for automation across the SDLC of agile and hybrid teams
Create and maintain documentation of application environment workflows, procedures, etc.
Monitor, analyze, and report performance statistics, focus on increasing proactive monitoring across environments
Perform release management functionality for multiple application development teams including scheduling
Develop and automate standard operating procedures around common failure scenarios (e.g. scripted/automated rollback, failovers, escalation procedures, etc.)
Be responsible for ensuring non-functional requirements are met before deploying each release and certify the release for completeness of these requirements in conjunction with quality assistance
Experience Requirements:
At least 2 years? experience in the following:
Team Foundation Server 2013 or newer
Strong background with Source Control systems including TFVC and Git (we use TFVC)
Strong knowledge in Web and Database administration including IIS (MVC, WebAPI, App Pools, etc.) and MS SQL Server (such as ETL and scripting)
Release Management for multiple teams including scheduling, and providing risk and impact analysis
Strong hands-on experience with deployment, scripting, and automation
Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment exposure
Experience in virtualization using Hyper-V / SCVMM
Preferred Experience:
Experience in creating or migrating to the cloud using Azure, AWS, etc.
Solid experience in automating the build and release process using TFS 2015 and 2017
Experience with mobile related processes (Android/iOS) preferred
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
Experience with DevOps practices such as provisioning, data and service virtualization, etc.
Bachelor?s degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience
