TKK Communications, a Ferndale-based telecommunications company, is seeking an experienced accountant or full-charge bookkeeper. Main Responsibilities include:
Accounts Payable
Assisting with Accounts Receivable
Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations and Research
Payroll (bi-weekly) and Quarterly Tax Filings
Cash Flow Management and Projections
General Ledger, Journal Entries
Month End, Year End Closing, and Production of Financial Reports
Employee Benefits Administration
Other routine financial and administrative tasks
Essential Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor?s degree in Finance or Accounting or Equivalent Work Experience
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience; construction industry experience is a plus
Proficiency with MS Office applications; Must Be Intermediate Excel User
Proficiency with Quickbooks / Quickbooks Pro
Proven initiative and follow-through
Outstanding communication skills and a desire to be a part of a collaborative, team-oriented office environment
Detail oriented and highly organized
Flexible; eagerness to accept additional responsibility and to adjust priorities as needed
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet budgets and deadlines
This is a full-time position (40 hours), Mon-Fri. Compensation is competitive and depends upon your experience.
