Your Role
Consultant who will provide financial management, audit readiness support and internal controls management to a Federal client. The candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Assist in preparation of assertion packages to achieve audit readiness in accordance with DoD Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) methodology and requirements
*This position requires an Active Secret Clearance
The candidate must have the following experience:
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Finance
1-2 years of relevant experience
An active Secret Clearance
DoD property (asset) management and valuation experience
Experience with Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR)
Experience with Asset Management * Experience with Audits/Internal Audits
Experience with OMB-A123/SOX
Strong ability to lead/drive tasks
Strong knowledge of accounting and experience with financial statement audits
Experience drafting work papers/white papers/NFRs, developing audit test plans, analyzing financial statements, and evaluating internal controls.
