Director of Operations Job Opening in Little Rock, Arkansas - Since 1992, The Computer Hut has been serving businesses throughout all Arkansas and Northeast Texas. We offer small and medium sized businesses professional managed IT services.
The Director of Operations leads a client-focused technical team to deliver IT services to clients. The role is part of a high performing team in a fast-paced organization, requiring client and business focus and demonstrated skills in project management, client service and leadership.
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial and enterprising with the desire to advance into an executive role at a rapidly growing, agile small business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead high-performance cross-functional teams to deliver IT services to clients
Manage client relationships and ensure client satisfaction from needs assessment through delivery of services
Develop, align, mobilize and motivate individuals and teams to achieve business results in a positive environment
Analyze and optimize performance and profitability on accounts and projects using a scorecard
Play a key strategic role on management team to foster continuous improvement, including collaboration on work-flow optimization and staffing decisions
Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors
Manage multiple complex projects
Evaluate employee performance and perform periodic reviews
Knowledge
Business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources
Principles and processes for providing client services. This includes client needs assessment, project management and evaluation of client satisfaction
Attributes

Ability to plan for and deliver cost effective results
Excellent written and verbal communication, conflict resolution and client service skills
Ability to evaluate and manage risk proactively
Proven project management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, delegate and mobilize personnel and resources appropriately
Preferred Experience / Education
3 years in leadership role in IT services organization
5 years of people management experience
5 years of client service or account management experience
4-year college degree
