Software Developer Job Opening in Lafayette, Colorado - The Software Developer will work with a team to create and support technical projects for Catalyst. The software Developer is responsible for designing fully functioning code with required documentation that meets development goals.
Job Duties:
Design, code and test major features in collaboration with team members, Software Developers and QA.
Perform maintenance programming for existing versions.
Perform custom programming as assigned.
Fix defects and add features to software.
Interact with key partners and internal users regarding timelines, technical issues, and infrastructure integration.
Provide recommendations for improvements in the overall development process.
Stay current with trends, techniques, technology and other factors impacting the job.
Actively participate in team meetings and offer on design projects.
Job Duties:
University degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent experience
3-5 years of software development experience
Solid understanding of and experience with development and C#
Experience with WPF, WCF and
Experience with MS SQL Server and TSQL
Experience with Version Control systems, specifically Git
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as nUnit
Additional consideration given for the following:
Experience with both Back-End and Front-End development
Experience with ORMs, specifically nHibernate
Familiarity with: Telerik, ComponentOne components
Familiarity with MSMQ and Message Queuing
Multithreaded / concurrent processing techniques
High Availability software development
Experience building software for highly regulated environments (e.g. HIPAA or PCI-DSS)
Experience working in an Agile environment
Detail oriented, can multi-task and have excellent communication and organizational skills.
