Furniture Sales Associate Design Consultant Job Opening in Reno, Nevada - We are a Reno local, family run business started in 2003. We have grown from a window covering shop at home business to a full service furniture store and design center offering furniture, area rugs, flooring, lighting, and window coverings. We are loyal to our staff, and have great opportunity for career advancement.
Norwalk Furniture Gallery, our newest location is hiring a sales person/interior designer. This is a permanent full time position.
We sell semi-custom upholstery, dining, case goods, area rugs, broadloom, hard surface flooring, window coverings (we are a Hunter Douglas Gallery) and much more. We specialize in mid to high end and we offer our clients a completely different and unique shopping experience.

Responsibilities include:
In store sales and customer service. (Previous sales and design experience a plus.)
In home sales and design consultations
Answering and responding to customer inquiries via phone and email.
Pleasantly greet customers and assist them with furniture, flooring and window covering purchases.
Maintain point of sale systems:
Receive and balance inventory, track stock and special orders
Keep customers up to date on their order status
Schedule and coordinate deliveries and installations
Bring a contagious smile to work! : )
Be punctual and respectful
Have great organizational skills
Able to multi-task efficiently
Self-manage and able to prioritize with minimal direction
Update social websites (Facebook, Yelp! , etc. . .)
