Accounts Receivable Coordinator Job Opening in Waterloo, Iowa - Job Description: Seeking ambitious and qualified ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE COORDINATOR. This position involves direct customer service and is the main point of contact for all accounts receivable related inquiries. The successful candidate must possess exceptional telephone and written communication skills, as well as excellent data entry, word processing and spreadsheet skills. Demonstrated skills or background in basic accounting and customer service are also required. This is a full-time role and primary responsibilities will include:
Customer service (including answering incoming calls and assisting walk-in customers).
Receive and post all incoming customer payments via check, ACH/EFT or credit card.
Ensure accounts maintain current balances and make collection calls on past due balances.
Setup new customer accounts and verify credit references.
Prepare and send customer statements.
Other administrative support tasks and duties as needed/assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma / GED equivalent required with business or accounting degree preferred.
Must be able to utilize computer equipment, various printers and multi-line phone system.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access & Publisher to effectively complete tasks.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills to provide customers with industry leading service experience.
Excellent organizational abilities to effectively multi-task and work on different projects simultaneously.
Detail oriented and able to follow processes to ensure conformity to requirements.
Willingness to continually improve skills and process and make recommendations for system improvements.
