Perception Analysis Advisors is a Providence-based management consulting firm which offers comprehensive public relations, development, social media, event planning, and government relations consulting.
Position Description
The Development and Strategy Intern will assist with implementation of client projects including grant research and writing, as well as management of development events. The intern should expect intellectually challenging and high-impact projects for a range of non-profit organizations, not busy work.
This position requires substantial self-motivation, writing skills, communicative ability, and comfort managing multiple projects in an incredibly fast-paced and exciting work environment. The intern will work closely with the company?s owner, client contacts, and strategic partners to form effective working relationships with those individuals, so an articulated interest to remain and work in Providence long term is highly preferable.
Required :
- B.A./ B.S. from an accredited college or university or working toward.
- Quick ability to learn new web-based applications and software.
- Desire for personal professional growth.
- Desire to grow with a company, and take-on new tasks.
- A record of success managing multiple, multi-faceted projects.
- Comfort using Google Apps.
- A good sense of humor.
Preferred :
- Graduate degree in related field.
- Experience writing grants and/or media releases.
- At least one year of experience working in office-based professional settings.
- Basic graphic design skills.
- Software development skills.
- A record of civic engagement, and political awareness.
