Sales Representative Job Opening in Warren, Michigan - Sofia Foods is looking for a part-time salesperson with an experience in food sales to help with managing existing and new accounts in the Metro Detroit are and other markets in Michigan. Must have passion for food, olives, and sales experience. We are looking for an energetic, creative, and motivated individual with excellent organizational skills to sell our products to grocery stores, specialty stores and supermarkets.
Key Responsibilities:
2 years of Food/ Beverage Sales experience minimum with strong food knowledge. Must show demonstrable track record of excellence in sales
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Must be Proactive, organized, goal driven, and excellent communicator in order to succeed in face to-face sales and on the phone sales
Meet sales goals and growth objectives
Set up meeting with potential customers, go to meetings, represent the company and introduce products well, and show samples
Follow up after meetings and phone calls and take orders
Responsible for all customer service related communication
Build and maintain base of new and existing accounts by prospecting, developing new market strategies and regularly visiting clients
Maintain credibility and trust with clients
Report to and maintain weekly contact (daily if required) with your Sales Manager, including once a month meeting to go over the month?s results and activities
Perform administrative duties in a timely manner (email, phone calls, meetings scheduling, Google calendar, sales reports etc.)
Utilize and maintain data systems to identify opportunities for new or expanded distribution, lost sales, incremental volume increases, and other business insights;
Ensures that our product succeeds at every new and existing account by visiting frequently, merchandising, and building relationships with the buyers and team members at each location.
Advocate for increased shelf space and product positioning
Flexible work schedule is required; attends special shows as needed
Follow up on unpaid invoices after the agreed upon payment period
This position might require doing in-store demos/samplings ((include set up, sampling and breakdown) to educate the customers about our products and spread the word. Payment for demos are separate for the compensation package
