SYSTEMS EINGINEER BRIEF POSTING DESCRIPTION: Test, implement, deploy, maintain, and administer the infrastructure systems which are required to effectively manage the CND-SP network and resources. IA Certification Requirement: Requires SSCP (preferred) or CEH certification. Security Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly required. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Job Functions and Responsibilities: Role may include, but is not limited to routers, firewalls, intrusion systems, and other CND tools as deployed within the NE or enclave. Serves as an IA staff member responsible for the analysis of network and system vulnerabilities and security events; and correlates multiple sources of information related to Computer Network Defense, Vulnerability Management, and Information Assurance activities to trend and identify risk and the assess the security posture of the enterprise. JOB REQUIREMENTS ? Other Certifications and Job Qualifications: Job may require evening and weekend work during major network defense incidents; may include travel and temporary duty depending on position advertised. Education, Skill, and Experience Requirements: Requires Bachelors degree and 5 yrs related experience or 7 years network defense/information assurance experience. Requires knowledge of ArcSight, Lagger/ESM, MacAfee and HBSS reporting.
