Financial Analyst - 4 month contract Job Opening in Detroit, Michigan - Financial Analyst - Contract position with an estimated end date of 12/31/17
Position Description:
Assist in the preparation of annual department budget.
Assist in the development of the annual budget and monthly financial forecast.
Prepare various financial reports for department management.
Assist department in the analysis, communication and interpretation of annual budget.
Frequent contact with others outside the work group.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
College Degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance.
1 ? 3 years of experience in Accounting/Finance () preferred.
High level of personal computer skills, experienced with Microsoft Office and Excel.
Proven analytical ability and problem solving skills.
Understanding of financial systems.
Knowledge of financial statements.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Self-starter with an attention to detail.
High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $33.00 to $38.00 /hour
