Reimbursement Supervisor Job Opening in Ludington, Michigan - The Reimbursement Supervisor is a professional level position that works as a member of the Finance Team. Duties of this position are to provide leadership and supervision of the Reimbursement Team and ensure claims reporting quality, accuracy, and timeliness. Responsible for staying current with and following guidelines set forth by Department of Community Health, legislature, Medicaid, Medicare, Blue Cross and other payers.
The position incumbent will perform the above duties while working collaboratively with individuals across all organizational teams. Work may include, but is not limited to, data management, participating on workgroups; corresponding with the State, assisting with research, analysis, and recommendation development for various claims or financial projects. Responsible for attending meetings with MDHHS, LRE, payors, and community partners to ensure WMCMH stays current with developing changes at the national, state, and local levels.
The employee in this position must be team oriented, self-directed, and able to exercise sound decision-making skills and judgment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management or Business Administration preferred, Associate's degree will be considered if they have the appropriate work experience.
Certification as a Medical Biller/Coder is desirable.
Three years progressive office experience in business or health care setting, Behavioral Health or Substance Abuse Treatment experience preferred.
Must be able to manage a variety of projects simultaneously and complete projects and tasks by required deadlines.
Candidate will have a demonstrated knowledge of, and proficiency in, accounting procedures and automated billing and office data systems.
Must possess a valid drivers license and provide own transportation to and from meetings and activities at varying work locations including all agency locations in Lake, Mason, and Oceana Counties and the LRE partners locations.
Lived experiences with mental use disorders are valued.

Salary: $44,800.00 to $67,200.00 /year
