Clinical Documentation Specialist Team Lead Job Opening in Lansing, Michigan - Location: The hospitals are located allover MI: Flint, Lapeer, Detroit, Bay City, Lansing, Pontiac and Port Huron
Position: CDITeam Lead
Required Credentials: RN, prefer a CCDS
Short Job Description: This position required 3 to 4 days on site across 2 to 3 hospitals working with the CDSs on site and making sure they feel supported. The additional 1 to 2 days will be working from home and doing follow up or validation /audit. It is important the CDS will understand coding aspects have knowledge of clinical indicators and audit.
