We are a national healthcare services company that specializes in providing contracted services to the healthcare industry. We are currently interviewing for the position of Vice President,Environmental Services Division (Healthcare).
The Vice President of Environmental Services Operations, strategically leads the division?s management, operations, growth and retention of current and future EVS business. This position will manage company-wide and may require national travel up to 100% of the time. Candidate may reside anywhere accessible to a major airport.
Our successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years Environmental Services leadership experience. Will have excellent organizational skills, computer skills, client relations skills, new account acquisition knowledge (pricing, walk throughs, surveys, proposal, implementation, skills.) Our ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, computer skills, and ability to effectively analyze complex financial data.
Some Responsibilities and Duties:
· Develops and executes a 3-5 year strategic growth and retention plan
Responsible for contract renewals, negotiations, and individual account investments
· Ensures that all company-wide goals and objectives are met or exceeded
· Addresses and resolves all client problems and concerns with urgency and professionalism, as well as regular client relations
· Creates and maintains organizational protocols and systems and effectively integrates them into company-wide strategies
· Drives an evolving culture focused on excellence in implementing core services ? with strong execution in standards, compliance and accountability
· Manages and mentors a growing team of District Managers and facility account managers, supports their needs and professional development as necessary.
· Provide leadership during new account acquisitions and implementations (department set-up, recruitment, facility evaluation, and addressing of immediate and long-term account planning.)
· Regular walk-throughs of accounts existing and potential new client accounts.
· Vendor relations- purchasing, equipment, chemicals, according to facility?s account needs
· Can provide high level environmental services (Housekeeping, Laundry, and Floor Care) training as needed company wide. As well as implement new programs and training as needed.
Aligns with Sales, designs and implements a strategic partnership with other divisions of the company that creates value for clients/prospects.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree preferred Basic Management Experience - 10 years Basic Functional Experience - 10 years of multi-unit, multi-state, support, strategic leadership experience
Must have a minimum of 5-10 years of healthcare environmental services leadership experience.
