Sales Supervisor Job Opening in Waterloo, Iowa - It is the responsibility of the Sales Supervisor to manage, maintain, and increase sales of all Anderson Erickson Product Lines within their assigned geographic areas.
SALES RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Develop a solid knowledge of AE?s philosophy, history, and product lines2. Work within a team approach to achieve overall company goals.3. Establish sales goals in assigned area according to company direction. 4. Monitor sales proactively to develop a marketing approach to meet those goals.5. Establish new frozen and dairy business by targeting accounts and/or cold call activity.6. Increase and maintain sales in existing accounts through promotional activities, shelf distribution, and positive relationship building.7. Oversee all outstanding credit balances.8. Submit accurate reports in a timely manner.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1. Valid driver's license with clean driving record.2. High school diploma or equivalent (additional education preferred).3. Prior food sales experience to grocery, restaurant and other retail outlets. An emphasis in fresh dairy products is preferred and given additional consideration.4. Ability to clearly communicate with customers, drivers and office staff verbally and in written form in English.5. Ability to sit for up to 8 hours per day, drive a vehicle for up to 8 hours per day, stand and walk for up 8 hours per day, and bend, twist and lift up to 50lbs.
