Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center is seeking a full time Clinical Programs Manager in beautiful Hillsboro, Oregon that functions in the capacity of subject matter expert to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical programs, and to provide clinical training and education to primary care site staff. The CPM supports staff development of all knowledge, skills and abilities required to ensure that patient care meets the quality standards set by VGMHC. The CPM works collaboratively with the primary care site leadership team to develop and roll out workflows that enhance patient care delivery, and to standardize the clinical work and training needed to support the workflows.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Maintains high level of competency in primary role as RN, subject matter expert, trainer and coach.
Team Huddles
Participate in daily site management team huddle and weekly site management team meetings.
Provide input as needed to support patient access by evaluating visits that are appropriate for RN or Group Visits. Recommend and institute RN or Group visits as needed.
Training
Implement and sustain customer-focused environment through staff training and positive reinforcement.
Collaborate with Team Lead and VG Training Department to develop training plan for new clinical staff into their roles.
Work closely with Team Leads to support and provide ?just in time? training with any staff involved in a clinical workflow.
Provide clinical training for current and new employees either one-on-one or in a group setting.
Identify staff training needs and knowledge deficits, and serve as trainer to address these needs, and support the growth and development of all clinical employees .
Education and/or Experience:
Required:
Current Oregon RN License .
Three to five years of experience working in primary care setting.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in providing training to workforce members.
Experience with project management
Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
Basic knowledge of adult learning models preferred.
Ability to analyze data and develop improvement plan preferred.
Skilled at using electronic health records (EPIC) preferred.
