Schedule: Monday ? Friday with variable hours, Ability to work on weekends as needed
Job Responsibilities:
Managing a small transgenic mouse colony (130 boxes) including DNA isolation from tissue samples, genotyping by PCR, timed matings, and some feeding/exercise trials.
Laboratory responsibilities will include stock solution preparation and some mouse colony record keeping.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States
Bachelor?s degree in Science is required; Bachelor?s Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field is preferred
Experience with basic molecular biology techniques such as plasmid preparations, sub-cloning, and bacterial transformation, are required
1 year of experience in a research setting is required
