Victory Propane is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to sell propane gas to prospective residential customers in our service area. Qualified sales applicants must have progressive sales experience including selling to customers in their homes and must demonstrate a proven track record of increasing sales.
This is a high energy sales position with a six figure income potential in the first year.
Outside Sales Account Executive Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and leverage relationships with individuals and businesses to cultivate new prospects.
Follow up on sales leads from home office.
Cold call via in person encounters with potential customers in their homes and other related activities.
Negotiate and close sales agreements.
Champion a positive, professional image of Victory to create customer good will and foster referrals and repeat business.
Follow up with new accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and fulfillment of the job.
Maintain relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with plant operations to effectively service customer accounts. When needed, assist with customer issue resolution including credit and collections calls.
Assist in the development, design, communication and implementation of the marketing plan.
Outside Sales Account Executive Require Skills:
Some college or equivalent in experience & education (business related Bachelor's Degree preferred)
5 years related work experience in logistics, distribution or related sales-propane experience preferred but not required.
Previous experience selling to customers in their homes required.
Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather and driving conditions.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to develop new prospects and quickly close sales in an assigned territory.
Desire to succeed and advance in a team environment.
Must be ambitious and results oriented.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with existing and potential customers.
Flexibility to work outside of basic job description.
Thorough knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and best practices.

Base Salary: $45,000 to $60,000. Outside Sales Representatives are expected to earn between $80,000 and $120,000 per year in base salary and commissions.
