Youth group coordinator for college age recovery program (20hrs) Job Opening in houston, Texas - Youth group coordinator for college age recovery program (20hrs) Searching for a high energy female with no less than 3 years of chemical sobriety to be our new youth group coordinator. We run a small group counseling program in the Med Center for college stundents in need of support. Our primary focus is creating change behavior that empowers our students to succeed in college and throughout their lives. All of our students suffer from some form of negative behavior, and one of our primary tools is 12 step fellowship. This position is for someone up to the challenge of creating an exciting recovery oriented environment that is attractive to new students. Job responsibilities would range from planning weekend activities for the group as a whole to spending one on one time with new clients helping them get involved in 12 step fellowship. Requirements; Female between 21-29 years of age. High School diploma or equivalent, as well as one year of college experience. (College work does not need to be in the human services field) Must be actively involved in 12 step recovery. Willing to sponsor clients if needed. Willing to work weekends and nights if need be. This position is for 20 hour per week. Pay scale is between $13-$15 an hour We are willing consider your current college schedule if currently enrolled.
