About Recover Health?s Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Opportunity: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is for a nurse who administers skilled nursing care to clients requiring professional nursing service in their homes and teaches/supervises the family and other members of the nursing team. Each nurse performs nursing services for clients within a specific area. These services are performed in accordance with the physician?s orders and under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing and the supervisor. This job requires a caring and compassionate person who has the maturity to assume the responsibilities that this position demands
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:
Verbal communications with clients, client family members, and Recover Health staff are conducted in a respectful, professional manner
Maintains clinical record documentation according to Recover Health policy and procedures and state/federal regulations
Obtains medical history of client, and keeps current to date medical history
Provides skilled nursing including treatments and preventative procedures
Supervision of care given by the Home Health Aide
Evaluation of effectiveness of care
Consultation with attending physician regarding alteration of the plan of care
Coordinates and/or supports total client care
Specific Requirements for the Recover Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
18 years of age or older with High school degree/GED
Graduate of an approved school of nursing
LPN License in the state of application
Proactive approach to patient care and management demonstrating leadership skills at all times
