Assistant Sales Manager Job Opening in Wichita, Kansas - Established Wichita area Self Storage Property seeks an associate property and sales manager. While self storage experience is not needed, we welcome a self motivated, highly organized individual who can assist in running a large, premier property, as well as help the parent company aggressively grow over the next 10 years. Day to day responsibilities include marketing and renting units, selling related packing and moving merchandise, basic maintenance of the +400 unit property, record keeping, customer service management including excellent phone skills. A strong eye for detail, "Can Do Attitude" and ability to build confidence with customers is desired. The role requires basic computer skills as well as a high degree of honesty and integrity as you are part of a team that helps protect people's valued belongings. There is ample opportunity for the company's leadership to identify high performing individuals with strong work ethics who want to grow with the firm. We have been in the self-storage business for 39 years and we are continually striving to improve our operations and the self-storage experience we provide our customers. Maintenance skills is a positive. Besides self storage customers, we have business warehouse customers and we are also a Uhaul Neighborhood Dealer.
