Application Developer Job Opening in Grand Rapids, Michigan - Provide high level and detailed estimates for functional software components
Execute on both functional and/or technical specifications for core and/or feature specific tasks
Perform complex troubleshooting and software defect resolution in a software release process
Collaborate with team to research, select and implement software development tools, controls, techniques and technologies
Collaborate on technical direction and architectural decisions or strategies with software
Requirements
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent
3+ years of development experience
Experience working on long-running projects with medium to large project teams preferred
Agile-based software development team experience using SCRUM or similar methodologies
Experience working with Enterprise Systems preferred
Familiarity with Service Based Architectures & Related Technologies (WebAPI, WCF, oData, Claims Authorization, etc.)
Familiarity with Object Relational Mapping Tools (Entity Framework, nHibernate, etc.)
Experience developing web services for enterprise application (SOAP, REST, XML & JSON)
Experience with Client Development Tools (Angular 1.5/4, Bootstrap, HTML5, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery Javascript, Signalr, etc.)
Working knowledge of Team Foundation Server and/or Git
Excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities
Strong communication and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people
