Accounts Payable Clerk Job Opening in Clare, Michigan - An opening exists for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the corporate accounting department in Clare, MI.
This position has primary responsibility over the various accounts payable processes including vouchering, paying vendors, recording credits, reconciling vendor records, verifying purchase authorizations and produce weekly managerial reports.
Major Tasks include:
Vouchering invoices
Paying Vendors
Recording credit memos
Verifying purchase authorizations
Reporting
Foreign payments.
Accounts Payable subsidiary ledger
Skills:
Exceptional organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong problem solving skills
Good communication skills
Ability to handle multi-tasks simultaneously
Proficiency with spreadsheets and word processors
Ability to work with diverse people
Good analytical skills
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years experience within the accounts payable, purchasing and/or accounts receivable
High School Diploma
Desired Qualifications:
Experience within the accounts payable area
Associates Degree in Accounting
Experience using Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word
Must pass drug screen and background check
