Controller Job Opening in Hillsboro, Oregon - We are currently accepting resumes for the position of Controller in our corporate offices based near Portland OR. We are a successful and rapidly expanding locally based technology services organization. Our Controller must be very hands all aspects of the general ledger and financial statement production. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manages periodic closings for the corporation, including (in a hands on manner) complex to moderately complex account reconciliations.
2. Will manage payroll processes.
3. Has all responsibilities for COA, as well as all audit relationships.
4. Manages debt levels and obligations and assumes outside banking relationships.
5. Maintains internal controls and will on a continual basis analyze controls and present findings to senior level management as required.
6. Assumes responsibility for requirements.
7. Will lead multiple initiatives to improve overall efficiencies by offering detailed process improvement analyses.
8. Special projects as identified.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. A bachelor's degree in from a recognized and accredited college/university.
2. Professional accounting experience of 6-12 years is a must, as is a minimum of 2 years supervisory/lead experience
3. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills particularly in regards to communications to senior management.
4. Prior experience in a project accounting environment is a plus.
5. Strong experience with MS Office.
