Position Overview
Employee will be primarily be responsible for managing and administering a commercial fleet fueling billing system for Marc Nelson Oil Products, Inc. This is a technology oriented position requiring developed billing system experience, preferably within either the petroleum or utility billing industries. Must be capable of understanding complex system file structures and possess analytical aptitude necessary for validating accurate system computations related to pricing and taxing of petroleum based products. Additional areas of focus include providing service to external fleet customers and internal sales representatives.
Primary Job Functions
Systems Administration
Develop fluency in internal billing system operation and management
Review and maintain internal billing system files
Oversee/perform daily processing of sales transactions
Oversee/perform periodic invoicing and required management reporting
Develop fluency in external card management system operation and maintenance
Administer systems and processes related to regulatory compliance
Customer Service Related
Support existing customer inquiries for service.
Organize and manage ongoing customer relationships, including conducting periodic account reviews, updating key contact information, and ranking customers based on value to company.
Educate existing customers on product suite offered through company.
Monitor newly acquired customers through a post sales follow up to ensure product usage.
Facilitate product configuration and delivery.
Provide auditing service for customers to help identify unusual or unauthorized fueling activity.
Requirements
A history of working with billing system technology requiring a high degree of accuracy.
Thorough knowledge of MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
Superior math aptitude and reconciliation ability
Advanced interpersonal and social skills.
Professional telephone presence.
Good writing and speaking skills

Candidate must have demonstrated experienced in operating and managing accounting systems, preferably with a background in the petroleum or utility billing industry. Must be capable of understanding complex system file structures and possess analytical aptitude necessary for validating accurate system computations related to pricing and taxing of petroleum based products. Additionally, the candidate must be customer service oriented as the position will be partially customer facing. Requires accurate data entry skills and a thorough knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, and professional phone presence.
