Construction Administrative Assistant Job Opening in Portland, Oregon - Cathedral Construction is seeking an administrative assistant to help our growing company continue to become more organized and efficient. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong organizational skills, and is able to handle a wide array of tasks on a daily basis. General responsibilities include:
Data entry and coordination with accounting
Accounts payable/receivable
Payroll
Updating and managing project files and cloud data
Crew scheduling
Material ordering
Managing and updating task sheets
Coordinating with project managers on project scheduling
Managing shop inventory
Subcontractor insurance and 1099 paperwork
Paperwork management and archiving
As well as having superior organizational and communication skills, you must be proficient in document and spreadsheet software, Quickbooks, Google Drive cloud file management, and able to learn new programs quickly. Familiarity with UDA ConstructionSuite and T-sheets is preferable. experience is not necessary, but is strongly preferable.
You will be working in a very laid-back environment with a great crew, but we are very fast-paced. We do lots of work in-house, everything from concrete finishing, framing, to cabinetry and custom doors, but also have a strong group of subcontractors we work with consistently.
After a 60-day probationary period, we offer sick and vacation pay. Pay is based on skill and experience, but we reward those who help our company become stronger. We hire very carefully and have a happy crew. We are looking for that perfect person to join us!
