Software Developer (4+ yrs. Delphi/Java exp. req.) Job Opening in Owings Mills, Maryland - Leading Medical Information Technology company in Owings Mills MD seeks a Software Developer to build, maintain and develop their flagship software application for medical providers. Our practice management software solutions meet healthcare industry requirements while serving our clients?physicians and their staff?to provide functionality and ease of use. The ideal candidate is an inquisitive mid-career Software Engineer skilled in OOP languages including Delphi, Java, Angular, React, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and support the existing application
Adhere to coding standards and sound architectural practices
Work closely with team members including Dev., QA & Support
Keep up-to-date with technical as well as industry sector developments.
Be flexible to change and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Provide production support for practice management software
May be required to provide support after hours in critical situations
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent
Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts and practices.
4+ years? professional experience using JAVA and/or DELPHI required
Software Development experience in EDI or Healthcare-IT preferred
Knowledge of Oracle is a plus
Able to provide a comprehensive review of requirements and specifications
Self-motivated and results oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication
Very organized, able to prioritize tasks, and provide accurate work estimates
Responsive to client and company requests
This is a full-time, permanent, direct-hire position with benefits.
