Mental Health Professional or Mental Health Specialist Job Opening in Saint Francisville, Louisiana - An outpatient Behavioral Health agency is seeking to fill positions of Mental Health Professionals and Mental Health Specialists. These individuals are expected to have flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the needs of clients and families, be compassionate, patient, detail oriented, able to manage time, be organized and able to service clients at non-traditional times in school, home and community. Additional job requirements may include:
Provides direct services including Community Psychiatric Support Treatment (CPST), Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR), and crisis intervention to recipients and their families in the MHR program.
Develops, implements, and periodically reviews Individualized Service Plans (ISP), incorporating input from clients and families, involved service providers, team members, and clearly identifying problem areas and needs, strengths, strategies, preferences, goals and service objectives.
Responds to crisis situations with twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week (24/7) availability on assigned cases.
Effectively manage and maintain caseload based on Utilization Management and productivity expectation.
Maintains mandatory record keeping and reports and follows established procedures in accordance with those of the MHR program, CARF, Family Institute, funding sources, and local, state and federal licensing statutes.
Works a flexible schedule that often includes evenings and weekends to provide home-based interventions, which facilitate individual, group and family counseling and meets the diverse needs of families.
Communicate with external and internal providers and programs to ensure continuity of care.
Attends Clinical team meetings, staff meeting, trainings, and group/peer supervision sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
Valid driver?s license in good standing
Car registration and vehicle insurance if providing transportation for individuals receiving services
Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks
Successful clearance of drug and TB test
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree
