Laboratory Sales Executive Job Opening in Franklin, Tennessee - POSITION SUMMARY
Laboratory Sales Executive is responsible for sales and development of MyGenetx molecular and genetic laboratory test portfolio. This position will target Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) Independent Physician Associations (IPA) and Healthcare Networks across the United States. This position will also oversee sales team, manage high profile accounts and be an internal strategic partner for business development.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Regularly present to a diverse audience, including C-suite executives, physicians, and hospital administrators.
Attend pertinent national conferences, symposiums and trade shows in an effort to form meaningful relationships and key partnerships.
Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within defined strategic accounts including ACO?s, IPA?s and Healthcare Networks.
Inform and educate key stakeholders on laboratory processes, reimbursement and impact of laboratory testing.
Participate in cross-departmental meetings and conference calls for the purpose of providing input and guidance regarding market dynamics and issues needing focus, attention, and action.
Develop thorough understanding of laboratory offering, coverage, and payment models for all laboratory tests offered.
In collaboration with the MyGenetx sales operations team, partner with Accountable Care Organizations, Independent Physician Associations and Health Networks to drive MyGenetx market share.
Collaborate with leadership for all laboratory test offering and the development and negotiate potential contracts.
Gather, analyze and deliver information from the field to allow MyGenetx to develop strategies and future lab tests appropriated to the market.
Coordinate all strategic initiatives with key clients between sales, service, support, customer services, marketing and finance.
Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from accredited college preferred
At least 3 years of progressively advancing work experience in the following categories;
Laboratory sales, C-suite experience in hospital setting or physician practice; reimbursement for Medicare/Medicaid and private payers; ACO, IPA and IDN management and reimbursement best practices, physical science or chemistry
Experience in health policy, health economics, reimbursement, technology assessment, health care marketing and research on regional/corporate accounts.
Action oriented, comfort with ambiguity, business acumen, and organizational and strategic agility.
Problem solving of highly complex issues, which requires critical assessment of potential impact on all parties
Ability to travel approximately 30-40% nationally
Must reside in Nashville, TN
