Software Engineer Job Opening in White River Junction, Vermont - Concepts NREC is looking for an entry level Software Engineer. In this role, working out of our Wilder, Vermont location, you will be working as part of a team developing a suite of products. This is a great opportunity to utilize your software skills to develop industry leading software applications.
As an Entry-level Software Engineer, you will:
Assist in software requirements analysis, design, development and testing of software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products
Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of technical engineering products
Participate in internal review of software components and systems
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Software, Computer, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or the equivalent experience is required.
Qualified candidates must have good working knowledge of the software development process, engineering concepts, principles, and theories
Working knowledge of software tools such as Integrated Development Environments (IDE) like Eclipse or Visual Studio, as well as version control and defect reporting tool
C++, python, Javascript, Web client/server are a plus
