ISMG is seeking an Event Content Director who will be responsible for managing the development of boards of advisers, topics and speakers across ISMG?s global events portfolio.
This individual will be responsible for the following:
Developing and managing boards of advisers for each of ISMG?s Summit series, currently made up of Fraud, Breach Response, Healthcare InfoSecurity and Government InfoSecurity.
Drawing upon board insight and the individual?s own subject matter expertise to develop content agendas that are topical, relevant and distinct from similar industry events.
Recruit and manage speakers for ISMG events, guiding them as they develop their topics, abstracts and presentations.
Provide guidance about speaking and session descriptions to event sponsors.
Participate in ISMG events as a host, moderator and subject matter expert, as needed.
Desired Skills & Experience:
At least 7-10 years of experience in the Information Security field.
Experience in working for a technology/business media publisher is a plus!
Knowledge of event production, as well as a willingness and aptitude to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Self-motivated and disciplined to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; time management and organizational skills; a strong attention to detail and comfort with technology with the ability to learn new applications easily.
