Garden Center Sales Associate Job Opening in Johnston, Rhode island - Central Nurseries is a family owned and operated Landscape Construction company with a 5+ acre garden center in Johnston and a nearly 100 acre nursery in Chepachet. We are looking for sales associates for our Johnston location, several full time (seasonal April - November) and part time (seasonal April - November) positions are available.
Education, training, experience:
The ideal candidate would have a valid driver?s license, experience working in the green industry (preferably in a garden center) or a formal education in horticulture. Requirements include extensive plant knowledge as well as pests and diseases, good customer service skills, work in inclement weather and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
