Management and Production Role
Statement of Purpose
The Vice president of Sales works with the Regional Sales Director and the Senior Account Executive. Responsible for growing and retaining a client base nationally. This position will manage all current regional clients and brokers. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing both retention and growth strategies.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree preferred
EXPERIENCE: 5 years of progressive Sales and Marketing experience. Demonstrated ability to build business relationships. Experience working in a TPA setting. Knowledge of healthcare plan modeling and the use of forecasting software. Knowledgeable of ACA Requirements
LICENSURE: Insurance license.
CERTIFICATIONS: SIAA Preferred; None required
Primary Job Duties
Accountable for annual growth of the company through new sales and retention of current clients.
Leads the team within the Marketing Department to serve the clients with monthly reports and quarterly visits.
Implements the strategic plan for growth.
Recommends and provides education for Brokers and Clients based on their needs in understanding the TPA business.
Assists the Account management Team in the review of Client Plans and forecasting revisions for cost savings.
Active member of the Senior Leadership Team
Responsible to Annual report on the growth of the company.
Facilitates an annual survey of client base as well as brokers. Evaluates results and with the Marketing and Sales Team develops an action plan for ongoing growth.
Reports productivity in a monthly sales report, quality and process outcomes to the President.
Removes barriers to achieve successful outcomes.
Identifies customer service problems and recommends system improvements for customer satisfaction.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and other sources of pertinent information.
Works directly with the Regional Sales Directors to develop marketing materials and updated presentation materials.
Assists in the planning and implementation of the Annual TPA Forum
Serves as a role model to achieve the mission of the organization.
Demonstrates the values of the organization.
Position Specific Duties
Works with the Sales Team to design and implement both Broker and Client Advisory groups.
Represents at Professional Conferences through speaking and marketing at National events.
Coordinates the Annual Forum

Ability to communicate effectively using verbal and written communication skills in multiple relationships with a variety of cultural and social backgrounds.

Ability to utilize critical thinking and problem solving skills when applying knowledge and experience to all situations.
Ability to use a variety of communication devices including telephone, computer, written and verbal skills to effectively disseminate information.
Ability to work independently, analyzing and assessing while following established policies and procedures and making decisions.
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to physically navigate throughout the office to necessary tasks. This position requires auditory, visual, and motor skills to operate a computer and perform office duties. Must be able to use a variety of office machines and computers which requires the use of fine motor skills and precise hand/eye coordination.
