Duties and Responsibilities
Providing administrative support and assistance
Handling travel arrangements for the sales and marketing department
Scheduling meetings and conferences
Collecting data and information and collating them into graphs and charts
Taking minutes of the meeting and then typing out and distributing to all attendees
Facilitating communication between the sales and marketing department and other departments of the organization
Following up on customer orders
Ordering office supplies
Answering phones
Making appointments with clients and customers
Skills and Specifications
Outstanding communication skills
Creativity
Good written skills
Typing skills
Ability to multitask
Problem solver
Ability to work under pressure
Good organizational skills
Having product knowledge and awareness
Good computer skills especially Word and Excel
Education and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate degree is preferable
Work experience in the field via internships and/or schooling is an added advantage
