Java Developer Job Opening in Washington, District of columbia - Clearance Level: DoD Top Secret ( MUST HAVE )

We are seeking a Java Developer to become an integral part of our team! ONLY CANDIDATES WITH AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE WILL BE ACCEPTED . You will develop and code for various projects in order to advance software solutions. You will also provide support and technical advice during conceptualization, development, and implementation phases to transform requirements to working solutions. This includes involvement with users to define system scope and objectives, as well as contributing to design decisions. Responsibilities:
Work on new web development and re-engineering efforts, including making system design decisions
Implement enhancements to existing system in addition to coordinating with other developers working in parallel and perform QA/testing as needed
Provide software development services on all tiers (UI, Java, Oracle)
Qualifications:
3+ years software development experience
2+ years Java (JEE Development)
Java/JEE development, software engineering and problem solving experience
Ability to quickly become proficient in new technologies
Active Top Secret Clearance and will be required to pass a CI Poly
Bachelor?s Degree (Computer Science preferred)
Desired Additional Skills and/or Certifications:
Oracle and Hibernate experience strongly preferred
Experience with or the ability to learn Adobe/Apache Flex
Experience with Subversion (SVN), Apache Ant, Gradle, Spring, REST web services
User Interface design experience; strong attention to detail and user experience (UX Design)
Experience with automated ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes
Experience working in a large, enterprise environment
Position is a Metro accessible downtown location.
