Pioneer Critical Power is looking for a Sales Representative in Kansas and Missouri areas. This is a great opportunity for a highly-motivated and energetic individual to become part of a fast growing organization in the critical electrical equipment sale industry. This is a full time position and the prospective sales representative will be located in Kansas City, KS.
Mission
To develop the territory by marketing and selling critical electrical equipment: Generators, Transfers Switches (ATS), UPS, Switchgear, Transformers, etc.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Product Sales (80%)
Use personal contacts and sales mediums like: ISqFt, Dodge, etc. to prospect, source, and maintain quality customers in assigned area.
Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals by developing action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects, and markets and to maintain contacts made.
Provide or present quotes, proposals, pricing, credit terms, and renewal, extension, or alteration of service contracts to customers.
Develop strategy to follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
Form bond and maintain regular contact with existing and new customers (particularly key accounts).
Serve as a conduit to introduce new products and services of our company
Prepare, deliver, and present sales materials, exhibits, and promotional programs.
Manage customer services through quality checks and other follow-up; identify and resolve customer concerns.
Be prompt in answering customer inquiries on products and services.
Maintain a professional image of the company at all times in all your dealings.*

Personal Development (5%)
Develop and maintain good technical knowledge base for both products and sales/marketing strategies and skills by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; networking; and participating in professional organizations. *

Reporting (5%)
Update Salesforce on weekly basis with key sales data: Quotes made, bids won or lost
Provide feedback, information, or data gathered through field activity, including recommendations for product, service, pricing changes and evaluation of competitive developments.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales manager.*

Travel (10%)
. Be willing and ready to travel to promote sales or to meet customers for project related discussions.
Accept invitations to attend local, regional and national: training programs, conferences, meetings, exhibits, etc. organized or promoted by the company.
Experience Requirements & Skills
2 years of relevant industrial Equipment sales or technical service experience. Please do not apply if you do not fall into this category.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to answer technical questions about a wide range of hardware topics.
Ability to work independently with initiative to manage customer technical issues to successful conclusion.
Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; and general stuffs like emailing, etc.

Bachelor or technical degree - Preferred with business (sales) or technical background*

Must be able to work independently and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
Must have proven business analytical skills
Must be able to manage multiple priorities with flexibility, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Must be highly customer focused with the ability to work under pressure and to work by yourself without constant supervision.
