About the Opportunity

We need a talented individual to fill the potential role of Process Improvement Consultant in support of the 711th Human Performance Wing?s mission to design and develop standardized Base Operational Medical Clinic (BOMC) processes in the Dayton, OH (WPAFB) area. In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of activities, to include, but not limited to:
Provide expertise in application of Lean/Six Sigma methodology in the analysis, design, prototyping, and assessment of clinical workflows.
Create training on lean management and continuous process improvement for leadership and clinical teams implementing workflow packages deployed to medical treatment facilities across the Air Force Medical Service.
Design a change management process by which medical treatment facility personnel are educated on changes, change barriers are understood and mitigated, changes are implemented, and mechanisms are in place to sustain the changes.
Monitor clinical and process outcomes of workflows and identify process improvement opportunities.
Analyze user deficiency reports, and using the Lean/Six Sigma methodology and tools, recommend changes that will improve process quality.
Plan and perform periodic assessments of deployed workflows in clinical user environments and recommend process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor?s Degree from an accredited engineering or technology program.
Minimum of 5 years of process/quality improvement experience.
Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in change management within the healthcare sector.
Exceptional communication skills, both orally and in writing.
Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.
Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt certification and Change Facilitator training.
Ability to meet deadlines and be an effective team player.
Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.
