Responsibilities:
Contribute to the architecture and implementation of Slice's B2B web application, which houses our various data products and internal tools
Work on both front- and back-end features as needed
Debug and add test coverage to our codebase
Benchmark, analyze, present and discuss design alternatives
Collaborate with various teams within the company, including Product Management, Design, Ops, Data Engineering, and QA
Requirements:
3+ years of relevant experience
Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
Experience with Javascript, , React, Redux, Elasticsearch, and SQL (this is our stack - the only hard requirements are Javascript and some flavor of SQL but we?d prefer if you were familiar with a few of the other entries in our list as well)
Experience in an environment with rapid product development cycles
Experience making informed engineering decisions and evaluating tradeoffs at all levels of the technical stack
Experience with Amazon Web Services or another cloud services provider preferred
