Primary Responsibilities Include:
Monitor customer aging and maximize A/R collections
Prepare customers payments for the next day cash application
Execute collection calls and follow-up on assigned customer list of accounts
Dispute short payments, chargebacks, or any other customer payment issues
Issue credit memos
Run credit references for A/R Manager
Back up on cash application
Assist with data entry on monthly reports from Senior Staff Accountant
Back up on answering phone lines
Qualifications Include:
Minimum 2 years relevant A/R & Collections experience
BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience required
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Excel expertise required, knowledge of V-look ups and pivot tables helpful but not required
Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
Strong financial reconciliation skills required
Previous experience in MAS 90 accounting software preferred
Working knowledge of consumer product retail business preferred

The position is located in the Northwest side of Chicago. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commute of this location. Relocation costs will not be considered.
