Sales Coordinator Job Opening in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Essential Functions : Sales system monitoring, maintenance and standards compliance. Ensures accuracy of daily input in current sales system, compliance with established operating procedures and provides overall with IT.
Creates, analyzes and issues specialized and customized reports, report summaries and documents from sales systems and other collective materials to potentially include, but not limited to period sales reports, definite and tentative booking records, room block/pick up management, resume and function sheet distribution, administration, forecasts and ad hoc requests.
Lead administration to include but not limited to managing the distribution and disposition of incoming leads from all sources within 2 hours of initial request, compiling lead status information and communication with Directors/managers on disposition through reports and direct communication. Assists in team member training on sales systems, applications and other software.
Sale: Assist the sales team with sales blitzes, cold calling and hotel site visits with clients.
Education: Minimum two-year college education in hospitality or hotel management preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: One-year hotel experience required, one to two years of employment in a related position at a hotel required, multi hotel experience is preferable.
PMS Systems: Opera, Synxis and Light Speed/Galaxy
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings are required.
