Sales Representative Job Opening in Johnstown, Pennsylvania - Join our high-energy, competitive and passionate sales team today! DeLallo is seeking Local Sales Representatives with experience specific to the food industry, preferably in deli, grocery, perishables and/or bakery. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, direct store sales, product merchandising and store demonstrations. Deliverables
Travel locally to call on retail store-level accounts and deliver exceptional service to our customers
Develop long-term customer partnerships that result in increased sales and margin growth
Speak confidently and competently about DeLallo products and benefits with customers
Demonstrate knowledge of industry and customer brands, platforms, and strategies and be able to provide innovative customer-focused ideas
Execute business plans, resolve issues and deliver solutions to meet customer needs and drive profitable growth
Plan promotional activities to introduce new items and special opportunities, and when needed, work demos and samplings
Conduct professional presentations on DeLallo product and service solutions
Collaborate with internal technical, operations, and product development personnel to assure alignment of sales strategy and product offers within technical and operational capabilities
Job Requirements
Minimum of 3-years? experience in the food or beverage industry is preferred; preferably in deli, grocery, perishable or bakery
Successful sales and negotiating experience
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Valid driver?s license without restrictions and proof of current vehicle insurance
Must be available to maintain schedule appropriate with customer?s business operations and travel as needed
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with individuals at all levels within the company and assigned accounts
Ability to rapidly adapt to changing business needs and priorities
Willingness to learn and work in all areas of the business as needs dictate
High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor?s Degree is preferred
Flexibility to undergo rigorous training at our flagship retail store and production sites to learn our products and systems. Our training is tailored to individual needs and will several weeks of training working 6 days a week and 10 hour days.

What We Offer

Full Time position
Two weeks paid vacation after the first year with the company
Company-issued phone or allowance
.45 per mile reimbursement for travel after first 200 miles
Health, dental, and vision coverage; employees become eligible for benefits on the first of the month after 60 days of employment
401K with company-match for associates over 21 years of age; employees become eligible for 401K on the first of the month after 60 days of employment
