Medical Scribe Job Opening in Columbus, Ohio - Northeast Surgical Wound Care is looking for part time Medical Scribes in Columbus and surrounding cities. Primary functions is to accompany the healthcare provider, record the patient encounter, and gather other pertinent information from the patient's charts and enter data into an EMR accurately.
APPLICANTS MUST:
-Have a reliable car and car insurance.
-Be willing to travel up to an hour to reach facilities.
-Experience with data entry as well as fluent in medical terminology.
-Medical Assistant Diploma preferred but not required. Encourage any health professional students (Medical, Nursing, Physical Therapy, etc) to apply.
-Excellent customer service and communication skills with ability to multi-task.
-Be accurate in data entry with close attention to detail
-Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Hourly wage negotiable with experience. Current range is $12-$14 per hour with mileage reimbursement.
