Field Mechanic - Red Deer Job Opening in sandusky, Ohio - Field Mechanic - Red Deer Responsibilities: Completing preventative maintenance and project work as assigned to you by the Field Operations and Maintenance Leads. Generating electronic work notifications as required. Participating in the review process for established PM work routines for mechanical equipment. Participate in commissioning of new equipment Assisting in identifying causes of failures and making appropriate recommendations. Identifying improvements and cost reduction ideas. Making recommendations regarding equipment replacement or upgrades. Analyzing mechanical and associated process equipment problems. Working in a safe, responsible and courteous manner. Maintaining a professional attitude. Responding to the needs of the oil and gas operations as required. Qualifications: Minimum Grade 12 high School education Holder of a Heavy Duty Mechanical Journeyman Certificate or an Millwright Certificate 5 years of previous mechanical experience in the oil and gas industry, with experience working on rotating equipment such as injection pumps, compressors and conducting general oilfield maintenance. Computer literacy in MS Office Suite considered an asset. You are an open, honest and positive team player with great communication skills. Must possess a valid driver's license.
